Training Calendar

Do you have an idea for a training or have seen a really great presentation that really should be shared?  Then drop an email to wachusettmrc@gmail.com and we will follow up- we promise!

 

 

Trainings require s minimum of 12.  Trainings are designed to meet nationally set competencies and recommendations.

In person meetings:  Will try to keep costs to a minimum for food and other material costs.                                      Generally $10- $12 if there is a charge.     Virtual trainings are free. 

CEUs are available where the training meets state license requirements.

FIFA Watches

Doyle Field

Leominster 

 

The City of Leominster is offering two FIFA events- July 15th and July 19th at Doyle Field. They anticipate large crowds of up to 5000 people.  Request is for volunteers to help man water stations, provide sunscreen as needed and monitor for Heat related problems.  We will also man a first aid station for injuries and heat related illness.

Just in Time training and booklets will be available with tips on what to watch for and to do in case 

Fire Dept will also have medics circulating in the crowd.  This is a partnership with the Leominster FD and Emergency Management.

Mass Care

National Night Out 

Official Date is August 4th 

Locally:

 Quabbin High School on South Street, Barre August 4th       4-7pm

Gardner High School on Catherine Street August 6th       5-7:30pm

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.

Hardwick Fair

The Hardwick Community Fair is excited to see you all again this year! Our annual fair offers numerous agricultural and creative exhibits, demonstrations, food, live music and dance, children’s games, wagon rides, an antique tractor parade, and so much more! Admission is free! Parking is free!
